The range of activities further includes heat and cold insulation and noise control for building service equipment and applications in the industrial/energy sector. Builders, architects and planner receive a complete chain of services including engineering, planning, execution and documentation. The installation is carried out with qualified site personnel of the Lindner Group. Lindner Isoliertechnik works on projects of all sizes in Austria, also within the framework of service and master agreements.

Strenger Tunnel at the S16 Arlberg consists of two tubes and spans over a length of 5,800 m. In the year 2016, a modernisation project was carried out with the aim of improving traffic safety, particularly in regard of fire protection. Strenger Tunnel was cladded by Lindner with fire protection slabs on an area of about 5,000 sqm. Beforehand, a thorough scan of the tunnel´s reinforcement was conducted and documented in order to avoid any damage during the fitting works. Lindner´s scope of works also included the construction of fire-retarding seals. About 200 of them were constructed at cable outlets, in emergency booths and at crossways.

Finished in 2016, the new construction contains 443 beds, of which 24 intensive care beds and 20 dialysis beds; six OP theatres as well as a residential part for the medical care staff. The heat and noise insulation of the technical facilities and building services was part of Lindner´s scope of works during this project, carried out by Lindner Isoliertechnik und Industrieservice GesmbH. A total of 17,000 fire-retarding seals for cables and pipes have been built, as well as 3,000 noise protection seals and 350 insulation coverings. The insulation of facilities for heating and cooling as well as sanitation amounted to 45,000 running metres, the ventilation conducts to an area of 35,000 sqm. Additionally, Lindner made significant contributions to the necessary fire protection through the execution of ventilation conducts and claddings with fire protection plates. 

During the new construction of the S10 between Linz and Freistadt several tunnels needed to be built. Lindner Isoliertechnik was contracted with the construction of fire protection seals in those tunnels. The scope of works included soft seals in the operations buildings as well as foam plugs and fire protection bricks in the tunnels Furthermore, the cable casings in the ventilation exhaust air ducts have been built with consideration of the suction and draft loads.
