The Consense 2011 continued the trend seen over the last few years and gained widespread recognition as a flagship event for Green Building. On 29 and 30 June, more than 2,100 international visitors took the chance to inform themselves on a variety of fascinating subjects by participating in workshops, listening to lectures and talking to business experts face to face.

One of Lindner’s highlights of the exhibition was the DGNB Navigator, a database of sustainable construction material, which has been officially launched on 29 June. This database shall provide architects, auditors, builders and planners with profound information on the characteristics of construction material, see: www.dgnb-navigator.de (only available in German)

Dr. Christine Lemaitre, CEO of the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council), chose Lindner’s booth as the perfect location to present their new showpiece to the numerous curious visitors. Lindner has been deeply involved in the creation of the platform from the very beginning. Naturally, several Lindner products have already been made available on the  Navigator.

Those who visited our booth were particularly interested in the recent green building projects as well as in our Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and emission measurements of Lindner systems.

Furthermore, the presentation on ‘Overall assessment of production sites in terms of ecology’, held by our specialist service department ‘Green Building’ in the newly set up forum for exhibitors, was exceptionally well received.
