Description

Project: kING Hall for Culture and Congress
Description:

The kING Hall for Culture and Congress is a singular venue with inspiring architecture in the western Rhine-Main area of Germany. Its destinctive facade stands out on the square of Ingelheim, while the architectural style continues in the foyer that visitors use to transcend into the hall of the kING. Thanks to adjustable floorings and well-designed acoustics, the hall provides optimal hearing and visual conditions for all kinds of events.

Lindner Objektdesign was involved in the interior fit-out of the kING with claddings for ceilings and walls as well as doors. The walls of the foyer and the main hall have been clad with reel-wood veneered panels that had been improved acoustically through perforation. The ceiling claddings in the main hall have been executed in the same manner. Lindner also supplied the entrance doors of the hall, executed both in a one-wing and two-wing style. Needless to say, all of these performances are built to meet and exceed the German safety standards for congress buildings.
