Designed for use in any scenario applicable to clean room manufacturing, sterile technology and work in surgeries and hospitals, these new lights offer many benefits when compared with conventional lighting systems. LED technology offers an improved colour spectrum, for example, a higher level of illuminance and an effectively maintenance-free operating life of around 50,000 hours. A further benefit achieved by the new technology is that LED lights can be dimmed without affecting colouration or efficacy.
The low level of resources consumed by their transport and disposal – and especially their significantly lower levels of power consumption during use – make these new clean room lights highly eco-friendly and economical. Compared to standard lighting, the new technology also offers an accelerated return on investment: reduced heat emission means ambient air requires less cooling and the new lights are also application-specific.
