Lindner SE | Luminaires
The history of Lindner Luminaires began back in 1993: Walter Steinhofer, Bernhard Stadler and Karl Irlbeck founded IWS Lichttechnik as an independent luminaire manufacturer in Mettenbach near Landshut. A close cooperation with the Lindner Group united the companies in the following years, giving rise to high-quality system luminaires for Lindner metal ceilings as well as various special solutions and tested cleanroom luminaires. As a result of the cooperation, IWS Lichttechnik became a subsidiary of Lindner in 2014 – which also changed the name to Lindner SE | Luminaires. Since 2017, the Lighting trade unit of the Lindner Group has been operating as the Luminaires business division.
Today, Lindner SE | Luminaires distributes, plans, develops and manufactures innovative ighting solutions with a high degree of customisation – including system luminaires for metal and GRP ceilings, luminaires for clean rooms, laboratories and operating theatres, and much more. High-quality standard luminaires for interiors are also part of the wide-ranging product portfolio. The systems are produced in the company's own production halls in Mettenbach and at the Lindner Group headquarters in Arnstorf. The business unit combines many years of specific expertise in the field of luminaires with the Lindner Group's range of experience in all facets of the building trade, so that a customised lighting solution with maximum flexibility can be created for every project.
In the 30 years of its existence, the luminaire manufacturer has implemented around 4,000 orders to the highest customer satisfaction, including renowned construction projects such as the FraPort Pier A-Plus or the Deutsche Bank. The initial staff of six has grown to almost 40 in recent years.
