A special reason to celebrate: No less than eight former Lindner apprentices were honoured for their outstanding achievements at school – six of them with the Bavarian State Prize, three of them as the best in the final examination of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in the summer of 2023. A great recognition that will bring further benefits to the graduates.

Award of the Bavarian State Prize

Since young talents are the foundation and an important stimulus for companies, the government of Lower Bavaria annually awards the Bavarian State Prize to the best graduates of the respective training year. All former apprentices with a grade average of at least 1.5 in their final exams are honoured. This year, six of Lindner's graduates are among the award winners - including Andreas (IT specialist for systems integration), Erik, Seline, Jonas (technical systems planner), Janina (industrial clerk) and Sophie (metalworker).

Special Recognition for Outstanding Achievements

Some of the graduates have already received the State Prize at a ceremony in Passau and at the State Vocational School Centre in Pfarrkirchen. But Janina, Paulina and Maria will receive another award from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in October: The three are among the best in their exams to become industrial clerks and will be honoured for this by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. In addition to the certificate, the eight "best of the best" also received a small gift – personally presented by Veronika Lindner. In recognition of their achievements, the former apprentices are also allowed to drive the Lindner Top-Azubi-Mini for two weeks.  It is particularly pleasing that all the graduates remain an integral part of the Lindner family.

Next Step: German Craft Skills Championship

For Sophie, things now continue in an exciting way after the state prize: As the Chamber winner for the Lower Bavaria-Upper Palatinate region, she has qualified to take part in the German Championships of Craftsmen in 2023 in the metalworking category. Every year, graduates in 130 trades compete against each other – first at guild level, then at chamber, regional and national level. The best of the best are then honoured at the bbc Berlin Congress Centre.
