The Lindner Group is involved in what is to date the most comprehensive Cradle to Cradle renovation project in the world: In Berlin, the Cradle to Cradle e.V.’s C2C LAB acts as an education centre, laboratory and NGO office.

The aim of the Cradle to Cradle concept is to design products in a sustainable way from the beginning: Used materials should be reusable as raw materials or composted without problems. The aim is to save resources and to avoid waste. The Cradle to Cradle e.V. wants to set a good example with its inventory renovation based on Cradle to Cradle criteria. It covers more than 400 m² and sets new standards for healthy and sustainable innovations. The C2C LAB opened on 11 September 2019 and offers a wide range of workshops, lectures and podium discussions on the Cradle to Cradle concept for all ages and levels of knowledge.

Lindner was involved in the renovation of the C2C LABs with some of its numerous Cradle to Cradle-certified products: The interior of the C2C LAB is equipped with the Lindner metal canopy ceiling system LMD-DS 320, the metal baffle ceiling system LMD-L 608 and the glass partition system Lindner Life Stereo 125 with integrated tubular frame door elements, Type ATB 42.

Thus, the new LAB functions as a successful showcase project and practical example for the construction and renovation according to C2C standards.
