Generations living under the same roof for 25 years
The staff and the residents are preparing themselves for a special event: 25th anniversary of the Parkwohnstift in Arnstorf. They have a lot to celebrate as the popular multi-generation house has become one of the most important meeting places in this region for old and young ones.
25 years ago, the Hans Lindner foundation took over the former hospital of Arnstorf, which had been rededicated to a rest home some years earlier. The foundation of the Parkwohnstift in 1993 initiated the impulse to create a central meeting place for all generations. The concept with individual living options is based on the different care requirements of its inhabitants. Nestled in a beautiful park in the middle of Arnstorf, this attractive care facility offers more than just a home. The generations’ coexistence is actively lived and supported by various amenities and offerings in the house. All year round, activities relating to various topics take place, where relatives and the population are always welcome guests. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of this multi-generation house, last Friday a joint celebration with “G'stanzlsingen” took place at the Hofwirt in Mariakirchen for employees and volunteers. Take the chance to visit the Parkwohnstift with your family: the summer party in the park on the 30th of June and the open day on the 1st of July. Staff and residents are looking forward to giving you a warm welcome.
