At the Orgatec 2018, the Sentinel Haus Institute awarded the Lindner Cube Room-in-Room system “Health Proof for Healthier Buildings” for the excellent health characteristics of the self-sufficient room modules. First and foremost the extremely low pollutant load on the room air, the room climate and the excellent acoustics.

In keeping with the topic “New visions of work”, the Lindner Group presented itself at the Orgatec 2018 in Cologne with “Add.Vantage | Rethinking spaces”. The focus was on various system products and services relating to new room concepts that not only meet the requirements of modern working environments but also offer real added value in detail. The Lindner Group has been working for several years on issues such as sustainability and health effects of the materials and construction products used. Constant further developments and improvements with corresponding product tests and certificates such as Cradle to Cradle®, environmental product declarations and just the “Health Proof for Healthier Buildings” of the Sentinel Haus Institute prove this.

Especially in contemporary open-space solutions, the focus is on the well-being, performance and health of employees. Different working methods and requirements demand individual room concepts and tailor-made solutions. This is where the Lindner Cube can meet the demands individually. The Room-in-Room System convinces with a certified sound pressure level reduction according to DIN EN ISO 11957 of up to Dw=42 dB (for confidential conversations) and an excellent acoustics with low reverberation times. High-quality, dazzle-free LED light sources control the brightness automatically. The air quality is continuously monitored by a CO2 sensor and controlled as needed. The good health characteristics of the Cubes available in various sizes and configurations have now been confirmed by the Sentinel Haus Institute. The values of the most important indoor air pollutants are far below the strict recommendations of the Federal Environmental Agency, as a measurement by the renowned testing institute SGS Fresenius has shown. Air velocity and cooling performance measurements also confirmed the good room climate in the Cube. The Cube can even be completely equipped with Cradle to Cradle® certified glass walls, doors and ceiling systems as required.

The fact that the Lindner Cube is not only technically convincing was shown by the keen interest in the design and equipment of the Cubes duo and phone, presented at the Orgatec. Inside the Cube duo, the TOUCHdesign Viva expanded metal ceiling with its glossy gold finish and three-dimensional, irregular effects caught the eye. To match this, Lindner equipped the CUBE with glass elements and real wood veneered COMPwood wall panels in the interior and partly with COMPart with a concrete surface on the exterior walls. An intense odor surprise provided the decorative coating with scent of real hay from the alps 1,700 m above sea level.

Additionally, Lindner’s booth at the Orgatec was expanded with product highlights and proven materials, such as: the NORTEC floor systems with high-quality parquet coverings, the new MOODline ceiling surface with deep powder coating and large-area acoustic images that can be individually designed based on the lightweight construction panel COMP+ acoustic with high-quality digital printing.
