Lindner is a new member of GRCA
The Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete Association is the leading trade association for manufacturers of glass fiber reinforced concrete and their suppliers. By joining the association, Lindner joins the international community of this specialist field.
After fiberglass-reinforced concrete (GFRC) was developed in the 1960s and began its triumphal procession, the logical step was to found a trade association. The Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete Association (GRCA) was founded in 1975 and has since gathered all the major players in the industry. With 90 members from over 20 countries today, the international success of this material is clearly underlined. The association is particularly committed to promoting the application of GFRC and improving the image of the material. This is achieved through the association's exchange of knowledge and experience, regular conferences on GFRC and participation in the development of standards in its production and material properties. The GRCA is run by a membership council and supported by various committees in achieving its goals.
Since setting up its own production facility in Padersberg in Lower Bavaria, the Lindner Group has participated in the market for glass fiber reinforced concrete. As a new member of the GRCA, Lindner will support the joint effort to establish GFRC worldwide as a building material for the large number of potential applications.
