More and more young people in Bavaria decide for an academic education. Whether full-time or dual study, as a student or trainee you can gain valuable experience for your next job. The possibilities at Lindner Group seem to be endless. Those who become particularly committed have very good chances for permanent employment after their internship.

The demand for highly qualified employees in business, science and administration is steadily increasing the total number of study places. The Bavarian State Office for Statistics is currently showing an increase in the winter semester 2017/18 to about 389,000 students in Bavaria - around a third of them are studying at a school of higher education. Especially the practice-oriented study offers many advantages: Close to the action, ongoing practical experience and valuable company contacts.

Every year, the Lindner Group offers around 100 students the chance to work in a variety of fields as students or trainees, for example as part of a mandatory internship. The students usually stay in the company from four to six months, gaining important practical experience. It is also possible to write the thesis in cooperation with the company. The department for university marketing of Lindner Group accompanies the students and also maintains intensive cooperation with the universities. Particularly noteworthy is the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences, which has taken on a special status for the family business and has launched the “Deutschlandstipendium” together with the Free State of Bavaria. 80 students with special commitment in communal, social and student endeavours are selected – considering their personal and family circumstances. The support is for one academic year and provides 300 euros per month. Half of this funding is provided by companies or private sponsors, the other half by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

The Lindner Group has agreed to sponsor one student. Günther Greil, Divisional Board member of the Lindner Group for Human Resources and Finance, will hand over the scholarship on April 10th, 2018 at the university exhibition “firstcontact” at the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences. Furthermore, students can inform themselves there about job and internship opportunities at more than 150 company exhibitors. The Lindner Group will also be present and is looking forward to receiving many interested visitors.

Other university exhibitions will take place on April 18th at the University of Landshut and on April 25th at the University of Rosenheim.
