In order to create modern and open working environments, an Administration Building in Böblingen has been extensively redeveloped. Room-in-Room systems type Lindner Cube support concentrated individual works and undisturbed meetings in this open-plan environment. While these retreats isolate persons within from exterior influences, they still maintain a pleasant degree of transparency thanks to a combination of wooden and glazed elements. Furthermore, integrated ceiling systems with heating and cooling technology allow individual adjustment of the room temperature. The Cubes have been fitted with fire protection and sound insulation doors for further improvement of their properties. As to the surrounding open-plan offices, Plafotherm® DS 320 heating and cooling canopy ceilings have been chosen for temperature control and appearance. The same interior concept as in this building was applied in the offices of a Board Division situated at the headquarters in Sindelfingen.
