Description: | With a brilliant concert, the Berliner Philharmoniker inaugurated the new Andermatt Concert Hall, designed by Studio Seilern Architects. This world-class forum for music represents a further flagship for the mountain village of Andermatt – in addition to the broad range of outdoor activities and the breath-taking landscape. The Concert Hall is an important milestone in Andermatt's development. Set against the backdrop of an impressive panorama, the hall offers 650 seats and is therefore suitable for conferences, festivities, and seminars. Lindner was responsible for a wide range of fit-out works in the Andermatt Concert Hall. The works were fully planned in advance through 3D planning technology. The stunning architecture of the concert hall was achieved with wooden claddings for walls and ceilings, where they transcend into the exterior. Glass fibre canopies were specially constructed to control the room acoustics while adding to the bespoke visual appearance. |
