The Diagnostics Division of the pharmaceutical company F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG is placed as the Roche Diagnostics International AG in Roktreuz in the Swiss Canton of Zug. With the construction of "Bau 12", additional administration capacities have been created at this site.
The Swiss subsidiary of Lindner AG participated in the interior fit-out of these office spaces with partition systems, doors, acoustically effective wall claddings and metal ceilings. Glass Partitions of type Lindner Life Freeze 137 with an element width of 1.8 m, height of 2.5 m and thickness of 125 mm have been installed, reaching a sound insulation value of 55 dB (laboratory measurement). They reach up to the raw ceiling. On the corridor side, ceilings of the type LMD-E 340 with drop-slide mechanism have been mounted flush to the partitions, creating an inderdisciplinary compound without additional interfaces. For improved visual discretion, some partition elements have been treated with silk-screen printing. Wall claddings that act as absorber elements offer additional acoustic optimiziation. Sound absorbing wall claddings with COMP+ honeycomb bracing on the backside contribute to optimising room acoustics further. Some of the elements have been finished with a real wood veneer surface.
Through suspension of partition elements, ceiling bulkheads have been created that feature seamless integration of other ceiling systems and elegant veneering of building services. Furthermore, they play a role in the ventilation concept of the building. The mid zones have been fitted completely with metal hook-on ceilings of type LMD-E 200, partially with integrated heating and cooling technology. All systems have been executed earthquake-proof, which saw all tolerances being reduced to an absolute minimum. Despite this, the project was implemented within the stipulated time of execution of only three months.
