With 82,000 seats, Twickenham Stadium is the UK's second largest stadium, with only Wembley Stadium offering more space. It is also the world's largest rugby stadium. The "East Stand" of the stadium has been extensively renovated to create function rooms, new restaurants and bars. A subsidiary to Lindner, Prater Ltd., was responsible for the associated renovation of the building envelope. During the ongoing operation of the stadium, a technically sophisticated new cladding was thus created for the facade and roof areas.
