Description

Project: Providence Tower
Description:

The Providence Tower is a luxury residential complex in the London Docklands on the north
end of Blackwall tunnel. It is composed of two structures, the Tower and the Bar Building, which are visually connected but structurally separate. The elliptical Tower is a 45-storey structure dedicated to private apartments. The Bar Building is a crescent-shaped 12-storey building along Fairmont Avenue and Yabsley Street, dedicated to affordable residential units.

Lindner Facades was contracted with the design, manufacture and on-site installation of bespoke facade systems for both buildings. As to the Tower, a thermally-broken aluminium curtain wall system of the type Lindner CW65 has been chosen. Numerous facets of this facade, such as balconies, sliding doors, glass balustrades and a glazed viewing gallery underline the prestigious appearance of the building. The Bar Building features a terracotta rainscreen cladding system, also fitted with bolt-on balconies and terraces.
