"A high-rise like a tailor-made suit" is also the claim the architects of Cyrus Moser have made for the hybrid high-rise in the Senckenberg Quarter in Frankfurt am Main. The 145-meter-high building now stands on the site of the AfE Tower between Westend and Bockenheim, which was demolished in 2014, right next to the historic Senckenberg Museum.

As an element of a four-part building ensemble, ONE FORTY WEST houses exclusive condominiums with spectacular views, in addition to a 4-star-plus hotel and top restaurants. For this purpose, the apartments were located only from the 24th floor and equipped with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, glass balcony parapets and/or "sky lounges". Some of the hotel rooms are also located on the upper level - up to and including floor 23 - and offer views of the Frankfurt skyline or the Taunus hills. The balconies are arranged like a stepped band around the upper floors. The staggered arrangement enables visual axes across several floors. A stylistic element that also carries Cyrus Moser's concept of the "vertical city" in ONE FORTY WEST to the outside.

Equally striking is the design of the Skybar on the 15th floor with a spacious outdoor terrace. The lower part of the building was wrapped in a rather discreet, but no less high-quality steel mullion-and-transom façade. For the base building, a rear-ventilated glass-fiber-reinforced concrete cladding was chosen, combined with sheet metal cladding and punched windows.
