Cradle to Cradle Summit: Building & Architecture in Berlin

On 11 September the "Cradle to Cradle Summit: Building & Architecture" is going to take place in Berlin from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event in the Umweltforum in the German capital will be all about innovative building materials, the urban future and material cycles.

The "C2C Summit: Building & Architecture" is organized by Cradle to Cradle e. V. and is a platform for networking, exchange and further education on the subject of innovative construction and design within the framework of Cradle to Cradle. Cradle to Cradle is a design concept that uses healthier materials that circulate continuously in biological and technical cycles. The production processes are powered by renewable energies. This avoids waste and makes an important contribution to environmental protection and the protection of raw materials.
At the C2C Summit in Berlin on 11 September, participants from construction, architecture, economy and politics will discuss Cradle to Cradle innovations and future constructing. Lindner is taking part in the C2C Forum with a presentation about ceiling and floor systems: Prof. Josef Steretzeder, Head of Integrated Management Service and Green Building at Lindner, will be speaking in the C2C Forum I at 12:15.
In addition, the new federal office of Cradle to Cradle e.V. is presented: As the world's first comprehensive Cradle to Cradle renovation project, the C2C Lab illustrates the sustainable design concept on 400 m² by giving practical experience. Healthy and viable innovations are shown there. Specialist forums, guided tours, political events, seminars and workshops are held in the C2C Lab.
