Fit-out of the Trivago headquarters Düsseldorf, Germany
Modern office spaces combined with an optimal working environment – the new headquarters of the hotel search engine Trivago in Düsseldorf's Media Harbour convinces in many ways. Lindner was able to contribute with 21,000 m² of metal ceiling – each element unique.
Trivago's corporate campus consists of a six-story, organically-shaped pedestal building and a 16-story tower. In addition to the modern office spaces, employees are offered an inspiring, healthy environment. This is also reflected in the sustainable building concept – certification according to LEED Gold is sought.
In accordance with the LEED certification system, Lindner metal ceilings meet the highest standards in terms of architectural criteria and building physics criteria as well as environmental standards. Lindner ceiling systems are made from materials that have nearly no emissions. For the Trivago campus, a very high demand of individualization was necessary. The installed 21.500 m² metal ceiling consist almost entirely of unique elements.
On the one hand, Plafotherm® heated and chilled ceilings at Trivago ensure a high-quality appearance and, on the other hand, a comfortable, energy-efficient temperature control. A pleasant room climate is influenced by air temperature and radiation temperature, air humidity and movement as well as the indoor air quality. The heated and chilled ceilings essentially function via the radiation principle. The result is a natural radiation heat exchange with the surfaces in the room below and a gentle, also completely natural convection.
In addition to the various metal ceiling systems, Lindner also realised drywall work as well as high-quality wooden doors.
