Jaguar Land Rover opens Statement Site in Munich
The British premium brand Jaguar Land Rover opened its largest dealership, the “Statement Site”, in Munich, Germany. Lindner was responsible for the implementation and coordination of numerous interior fit-out works in two construction phases.
From a total area of approximately 20,000 m² allocated on five levels, about 4,700 m² serve as an exhibition space for current and historical models of the two brands. The rest is preserved for consulting areas, offices for employees and management, as well as a service area – there, customers benefit from an innovative concept with drive-through, in which the full range of services is provided using 16 lifting platforms.
Lindner was involved, inter alia, with large-area drylining and flooring work, wallpapering and painting work as well as special designs such as handrails, railings, tea kitchens, wooden doors and more. Lindner ceiling systems with integrated heating and cooling technology and fully glazed partitions create a pleasant atmosphere in the offices and meeting areas.
The approx. 300 m² "Green Wall", which is planted with real plants, is an eye-catcher. The fixed glazing in its middle was manufactured as a tested special construction by Lindner. The exhibition areas are held in light sand and gray tones, combined with dark wood nuances for the floor, wall claddings and furniture as well as white partition and ceiling elements. In the workshop area there are black ceiling panels made of grid metal, which correspond to the built-in cupboards for the technical equipment and the lifting platforms.
The high standards in terms of sustainability scored points for Lindner as a partner for the interior fit-out: the selected Lindner systems are partly Cradle to Cradle® certified and were produced according to strict environmental criteria. The building achieved the BREEAM Excellent status.
