The Lindner Group is investing around 50 million euros in its sites in Germany. Among other things, a 10,000 m² production hall including a metalworking plant and paint shop for the production of ceiling and partition wall elements was built at the headquarters in Arnstorf, Germany.

To create space for the new production hall, 20 % of the company premises were removed. Like the construction of the hall afterwards, this was done during ongoing operations at the headquarters. With the new production plant, smaller batch sizes can be implemented and customer requirements can be processed even better and more efficiently. Special attention was paid to energetic aspects: Thanks to modern technology and comprehensive know-how, energy generation that is as CO2-neutral as possible and an energy-saving production process are achieved. Moreover, the investment in the site also ensures secure jobs.

The production hall is divided into four sections: With an oven, wood waste is burned, while the resulting heat is in turn used for metal processing. In the second section, metal elements are temporarily stored, punched and bent. Via a rail system on the ceiling, they are then transported to the next part of the hall to the paint shop and the furnace, and finally to the trucks. A registration code simplifies the tracking of the elements.

The first customer order in the new production hall was already processed last week.
