Description: | The duty free shops of Gebr. Heinemann SE & Co. KG can be found at many airports, always with the claim to offer its customers an outstanding shopping experience. That's why the company invests heavily in its shops to ensure that they always have an appealing design. For this reason, the TAX FREE Heinemann Shop at Copenhagen Airport received a comprehensive refurbishment between 2012 and 2013. Already at that time Lindner was involved in numerous construction works, the visual highlight of which is the wooden baffle ceiling of the shop. In 2018 the appearance was refreshed again. Lindner was also involved in this measure by being responsible for essential parts of the construction works. At the beginning, a deconstruction of existing floor coverings, plasterboard walls and metal ceilings was carried out to prepare the area for the new development. Then new parquet flooring made of oak, jatoba and wenge as well as stone tiles were laid. For the redesign of the ceiling surfaces plasterboard ceilings were built, in which different colored powder-coated and perforated cassette ceilings from Lindner were integrated. Likewise, a stainless steel ceiling with a high-gloss surface of the type TOUCHdesign Lunar was incorporated into the existing wooden baffle ceiling. New plasterboard walls were built and integrated colour-wise into the design concept. |
