IMA Group is a world leader in the design and manufacture of automated machinery for the processing and packaging of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, tea and coffee. The building in Castel San Pietro Terme (BO) is home to the subsidiary IMA Life – a division of the IMA Group specialising in the manufacture of pharmaceutical production equipment. Recently, this location was extended by a modern office building with ground floor and upper floor: In addition to spatial flexibility, the main focus for the user was on good room acoustics and a high level of sound insulation. In order to meet the high demands of acoustic performances, Lindner supplied the longitudinally sound insulated LMD-B 100 SD post cap ceiling. The complete in-house integration of Lindner AirBoxes S/E for air supply and air return, as well as the Lindner IS 22 LED technology luminaires guarantees seamless sound insulation across all trades. Thanks to the longitudinal sound insulation, it was possible to achieve noticeably better acoustics than with a normal ceiling – this enables particularly quiet and concentrated work in the office rooms at the very highest level. Despite maximum functionality thanks to increased flexibility and optimised acoustics, the LMD-B 100 SD ceiling system appears as a modern and elegant ceiling surface: with the unique MOODline deep matt natural white surface coating, the ceiling becomes the architectural highlight of the project. |
