Unitised Facades

Unique Building Envelopes

Lindner is a specialist in unitised facades for complex large-scale projects. No matter how tall and complex the building is shaped, whether transparent or opaque, whether straight, curved or sloping – true to the motto "Building with new solutions", we always find a way to implement it. There are no limits to architectural ideas! At the same time, we achieve the highest level of quality through professional planning and implementation of the projects, including extensive calculations and tests.

We produce our own facade systems, but also distribute partner facades and system houses:

  • our own produced facades: CW85, ECO, ECO_N
  • partner facade: Brunkeberg System
  • various system houses

Lindner unitised facades consist of factory-prefabricated single elements that are already arranged on the building in front of the structural level. This usually includes the frame, the glazing, the sealing system and the connecting elements. The facade elements are manufactured at least storey-high and thus form the complete room closure. The high degree of prefabrication enables quick and easy delivery and installation – even of individual and large-scale unitised facades. Depending on your requirements, we manufacture single-skin and double-skin as well as hybrid facades.

    Classic Unitised Facades

Single-skin facades are the classics among the unitised facade systems: They consist of only one envelope – the glass facade. All the necessary components, such as balconies, balustrades or opening elements, are integrated.

Opening elements: Our building envelopes are designed in such a way that opening elements such as window sashes, doors or sliding elements can be easily integrated. Whether in cooperation with system houses or with our own and special developments, the insert elements always blend harmoniously into the facade appearance.

    Double-Skin Facades

A double facade has two envelopes and is therefore a special form of unitised facade. It consists of a thermal envelope with an attached baffle and a maintenance web. Double-skin facades are often preferred to single-skin constructions for reasons of sound and heat insulation coupled with the predicted running costs of the building. In this respect, early involvement of facade consultants and building services engineers to determine the optimum facade type for the individual performance requirements often pays off.

    Hybrid Facades

Hybrid facades correspond to a combination of single-skin and double-skin facades. An alternating arrangement of the types creates a facade system with the best of both worlds. The ECO_N is the first hybrid facade among the Lindner unitised facades: The combination of timber modules and aluminium unites economy with sustainability.
