Just like the expanded metal ceiling LMD-St 213 WL, which has been specifically developed and tested for use as a canopy in entrance areas, as well as for stations, underground car parks, and other (outdoor) areas with high wind pressure and suction loads.

The expanded metal ceiling LMD-St 213 WL is designed as standard for wind pressure and suction loads up to 133 kg/m² and can be made even more robust for higher requirements.
Wind loads or suction and pressure forces can affect the ceiling system differently and depend on factors such as wind zones, geographical location, building type and height, storey height and location, as well as position on the building. These factors must be considered not only in outdoor areas but also in enclosed buildings with open accesses, such as stations, during planning and execution. In addition to individual static calculations, the corrosion protection for the entire ceiling system, including the fastening technology, must be adapted to the building physics requirements of outdoor ceilings and considered individually.
The ceiling, made from galvanised and thus corrosion-protected steel sheet parts, offers not only a robust ceiling solution for the outdoors but also a homogenous appearance with a pronounced joint in both directions, thanks to the concealed substructure. Individually operable, foldable ceiling elements allow for simple and quick inspection access. The LMD-St 213 WL is available in two different standard versions:
