After a long time of healthy growth, the Biberach branch office of Sparkassen Group reached the limits of its capacities in regard of available space for office areas and costumer consulting. The Biberach branch is one of the leading banks in Baden-Württemberg, having a balance sheet total of 6 billion Euros. In order to provide the capacities necessary for future growth, the bank decided to erect a new administration building in direct vicinity to its main building. Following the guidelines "economically appropriate, ecologically exemplary and pioneering in urban development", 4,700 sqm of usable space were created in 1.5 years of construction time. This eases the tense space situation in the main building, freeing rooms for the customer support.

Lindner heating and cooling ceiling systems are the temperature control system of choice for this building´s offices, training rooms and certain hallways. The office and training rooms have been fitted with Lindner metal hook-on ceiling systems, carrying Plafotherm® heating and cooling technology. Gipsum fibre ceilings with heating and cooling technology have been used in hallway areas of the 3rd floor and the walkway connecting the new administration building and the main building.
