Fleet Office II

The sister buildings Fleet Office 1 & 2 offer combined office floors of 30,000 sqm in the Hammerbrook quarter of Hamburg. Fleet Office 2 features the larger capacities with 20.000 sqm and 200 parking spaces. Half of these are taken up by an anchor tenant who runs its local branch in this DGNB Gold certified building.

Lindner acted as a general contractor for the tenant fit-out of the anchor tenant. The scope of works included the product areas Heated and Chilled Ceilings, Partition Systems, Lights and Luminaires as well as the management of all fit-out works. Initially, the planning saw circulation air condition systems. However, Lindner convinced with a concept that combined the existing concrete core activation with heated and chilled ceilings of type Plafotherm® DS 320. This approach convices through several advantages: more cozy temperature control, considerabl increase in energy efficiency, improved acoustics through perforations as well as flexibility in case of spatial redevelopments. These alterations are also facilitated by easily movable glass partitions by Lindner. The system Lindner Life Pure 620 was fitted on a large scale; it makes for a high degree of transparency, which is only broken by the fabric-covered metal acoustic absorbers. The latter have been integrated together with acoustically effective wall pictures to improve room acoustics. Apart from the system Life Pure 620, the double-glazed system Life Stereo 125 has also been fitted on chosen spots. The partitions have been fitted with fully glazed door leafs and aluminum frames.
