The Chalet country house plank, glued as a 3-layer parquet, is used in upmarket interior design due to its impressive dimensions. The high-quality oak backing enables a stable structure with large plank widths. The symmetrical construction with wear layer and backing made of equivalent wood prevents cross warping in the event of briefly unfavourable climatic conditions. With the all-round tongue and groove system, the plank is suitable for full-surface bonding on standardised subfloors. Due to the higher bulk density of oak compared to conventional softwood substructures, a low thermal resistance is achieved, which is desirable for use on heated screeds. The wear layer thickness of 4 mm enables renovation, similar to solid parquet.
