The Lindner Group's sustainability strategy is designed to systematically integrate environmental and social challenges — as well as the requirements of responsible corporate governance — into its strategy, business model, and value chain. The foundation of this approach consists of clearly defined fields of action and objectives across three core areas: Circularity (Environment), People (Social), and Values (Governance).
In the environmental domain, the focus is on the principle of the circular economy, the expansion of renewable energies, and the prevention of environmental impact — underpinned by concrete objectives such as the development of concepts for carbon-neutral energy supply, the transition to carbon-neutral electrical energy in relevant areas, and the continuous reduction of energy consumption.
In the social domain, health and safety, training and professional development, as well as flexible and equal working conditions, are at the forefront — operationalised through defined measures and target metrics.
In the area of Governance, values-based leadership, reliability, trust, and strong networks and partnerships form the framework for embedding responsibility effectively into decision-making and collaboration.
The consistent integration of these three perspectives ensures that sustainability is not understood as an isolated programme, but as an integral part of operational management and the ongoing development of the business model. Ideas emerge from innovation, employee engagement, and collaboration with partners along the value chain; their implementation is driven through concrete programmes, processes, and measurable objectives. It is from this logic that the following guiding principle emerges for our overarching strategy of "Turning Ideas into Impact": The Lindner Group measures sustainability by the extent to which concepts and initiatives generate demonstrable impact for the environment, for people, and for responsible corporate governance.
As an internationally active construction company, we are fully aware of the impact our products and processes have on the environment — and we act accordingly: consistently, measurably, and with a focus on the future. Our guiding principle of "Circular Construction" forms a cornerstone of our environmental commitment. We develop and manufacture products in accordance with the principles of Cradle to Cradle Certified®, enabling closed material cycles, minimised waste, and high resource efficiency.
Through our business model LinLoop, we create the foundation for returning products at the end of their service life, refurbishing them where applicable, and reintroducing them into use. We are actively driving the transition to carbon-neutral energy sources: through the expansion of renewable energy generation and the development and deployment of energy-efficient technologies. At the same time, we work closely with suppliers and partners to reduce emissions across the entire value chain.
We record our greenhouse gas emissions transparently across all three scopes in accordance with the GHG Protocol, with 2025 as our base year.
People are the foundation of the Lindner Group — as a second-generation family business, we live by a culture shaped by trust, appreciation, and genuine collaboration.
The health and safety of our employees is our highest priority: ensured through structured occupational safety measures, ergonomic workplaces, targeted health management, and continuous accident prevention.
At the same time, we invest consistently in training and professional development — because we nurture talent from within our own ranks and enable career changers to integrate purposefully into our organisation.
For us, responsible conduct begins with clear principles: at the Lindner Group, integrity, transparency, and fairness are not abstract concepts — they are a lived commitment, reflected in every decision, in every business relationship, across the world.
