Overflow elements

A transfer element is an integrated ventilation component installed within a drywall partition. It enables continuous air exchange between adjacent rooms without opening the wall, while simultaneously meeting high acoustic insulation requirements.

To install a transfer element in a drywall system, the metal substructure must be adapted. This substructure can consist of either standard UW profiles or reinforced UA profiles. The transfer element, including all necessary seals, is precisely fitted into the wall opening and then screwed in place together with the wall cladding.

The Lindner transfer element GK U-100 flow allows for high airflow rates while providing effective sound insulation.
In contrast, the Lindner transfer elements GK U-50/75/100 silent offer superior acoustic insulation with moderate airflow capacity.

The base housing of the transfer elements is made of galvanized steel as standard, but can also be powder-coated in any available RAL colour upon request. If the visible air slot is also to be concealed, matching cover plates in the same colour can be supplied.

Calculate the required airflow rate by multiplying the room volume by the desired air change rate. If high airflow is needed, the GK U-100 flow is recommended. For lower ventilation requirements, the GK U-50/75/100 silent models are also suitable.
