Circular Business Models

What is LinLoop? Our return and rental offering

LinLoop is Lindner Group's circular business model for resource-efficient interior fit-out through the take-back, reuse and refurbishment of system products.
As a return and rental model for Lindner system products such as raised floors, ceiling systems and partitions, LinLoop reduces waste from dismantling during refurbishment and renovation through defined refurbishment and reuse processes. The environmental performance of the system products used can also be demonstrated through EPDs.

In this way, LinLoop promotes the responsible use of materials and helps create working environments where productivity and innovation go hand in hand with resource-efficient construction.

As a practical circular economy model, LinLoop supports companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in achieving their sustainability goals in the building sector, without significant compromises in quality, design or functionality compared with newly manufactured fit-out products.

Purchase with return: take-back instead of disposal

With our purchase-with-return model, you purchase our reversible system products as usual, with one additional element: alongside the construction contract, you enter into a return/repurchase agreement with us.

Terms of a return/repurchase agreement

  • The customer becomes the owner once the purchase price has been paid in full.
  • An agreement is concluded for the return of predefined contractual items.
  • Usage period: 10 to 30 years, with an option for the customer to extend the period by giving 12 months' notice.
  • Residual value: agreed individually in advance, depending on the product condition, quantity and return conditions.
  • Condition on return: products must be fully functional and free from contamination or improper use.
  • Optional: annual maintenance contract to maintain long-term functionality.

This approach not only avoids disposal, but also generally covers the costs of dismantling.

Rental of system products: flexibility and cost efficiency

Our rental model offers a range of benefits, from individual product selection to improved liquidity.

Terms of a rental agreement

  • Rent what you need:raised access floors, ceiling systems, partitions or complete interior fit-out – anything is possible.
  • Flexible rental period: 5 to 10 years, with the option to extend the contract.
  • Monthly payments for improved liquidity, a higher equity ratio and a shorter balance sheet. Please note: the accounting impact depends on your individual accounting requirements (HGB/IFRS). Please consult your tax adviser.
  • Services included: annual inspection, installation and dismantling of the fit-out products.
  • Adaptability: spatial changes and refurbishment measures are possible at any time, with the rental rate adjusted accordingly.
