Explosive attacks and uncontrolled explosions are among the most serious threat scenarios for security-critical buildings. The aim of our fit-out solutions is to effectively reduce the impact of a blast wave on the building structure, facade and interior – using systems that minimise the formation of glass splinters and flying debris while protecting load-bearing and room-enclosing elements. Classification is based on recognised ER classes.
Protecting sensitive information is just as important in public authorities, military facilities and security-critical corporate environments as the physical protection of people and buildings. Together with specialised partners, we implement solutions for secure rooms that provide protection against eavesdropping – from meeting rooms and command centres to areas subject to particularly stringent confidentiality requirements. We combine structural measures for acoustic and electromagnetic shielding with the building's overall security concept.
Effective protection against forced entry and targeted attacks is becoming increasingly important in defence and security environments. Our systems are tested in accordance with DIN EN 1627 and cover resistance classes RC1 to RC6 – from basic levering tools to professionally used power tools. We do not limit our approach to individual building components: doors, windows, facade and wall systems are integrated holistically into a security concept that also takes adjacent joints and connections into account.
As the security environment becomes increasingly complex, the need for reliable protection against firearm threats is also growing. Our ballistic-resistant systems are tested in accordance with DIN EN 1522/1523 and VPAM and provide reliable protection up to class FB7. In addition to doors and walls, our solutions include bullet-resistant glazing, classified according to calibre, type of ammunition and firing distance. The key requirement is clear: no projectile may penetrate the protected area – frames and joints are protected just as consistently as the building component itself.
The increasing use of drones creates new threat scenarios for security-critical sites, from unauthorised surveillance to eavesdropping. Lindner Group provides structural solutions to protect against surveillance and eavesdropping by drones, which can be integrated into existing security concepts. The focus is on facade and building-envelope solutions that make unauthorised approaches more difficult and help reduce the impact of an incident on the building structure and people inside.
