With this privacy information, we would like to inform you as participant or visitor of company events, customer events, events, trade fairs, participant of competitions, contests and raffles, for which purposes and on what legal basis we collect and process your personal data, or the data of your underage child, and how long we store this personal data. In addition, this privacy information informs you about your rights as a person affected by our data processing.

3. Purposes of processing personal data

Storage of contact details

If you register yourself as a participant, visitor, customer at an event or Lindner event on the basis of our invitation, we had already stored your personal data in our system because you had given them to us in the context of a business contact. From time to time we invite our business contacts, customers and interested parties to events or trade fairs to inform them about our company, specialist topics, services and innovations as well as current industry topics. Furthermore, we would like to use these opportunities to cultivate the relationship with our business contacts and customers, to get to know their needs better and to promote our service portfolio or to present possibilities for cooperation. Exchange of business cards, getting to know each other at meetings, events, fairs

If you, as a visitor or accompanying person, provide us with your contact details to initiate or examine a possible cooperation or to enable a business partnership, as a potential customer or interested party in our products and services, we take the liberty of storing the personal data provided to us for these purposes in our CRM system and to note there for which purposes we may contact you.

Storage of contact data in our CRM system

We store your personal data, which we have collected in the course of a business contact, in our CRM system.

After your contact details have been entered into our CRM, you will receive an automatic information mail as well as information on our data protection information on the Internet. If you provide us with the name of a holiday or sick leave replacement as a contact person in the course of a business relationship, we will also enter this personal data (usually surname, first name, function, email address and telephone number) in our CRM and also inform the person named by email in order to fulfil the requirements of the information obligations under Article 14 GDPR.  

In our CRM system, we only store the personal data that we need to process and carry out our business relationship or for agreed sales purposes.

Legal basis: Article 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR "Legitimate interest", our legitimate interest is to regularly inform our existing business contacts, customer contacts about our company and our services and to inspire enthusiasm for us.  Articel 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR „Initiation or fulfilment of a contractual relationship“.

e.g. surname, first name, contact details (telephone, mobile number, email address), position, company, necessary information in connection with the processing of existing or completed business operations and planned future cooperation.

Within the scope of the cooperation, we will internally forward your personal data to the responsible internal departments only for the agreed purposes (e. g. for the sending of information, newsletters, invitations to events, meetings and trade fairs, for the preparation of offers, the execution of orders, for the administration of orders, for the settlement of business transactions, etc.).

In order to comply with the laws and regulations applicable to us, we may disclose your personal data contained in offers, contracts or other documents to external auditors, auditors and accountants, tax offices, banks and other authorised bodies, if we are obliged to do so by law or regulation.

As an internationally active group of companies organised on the basis of a division of labour, authorised Lindner employees in other EU countries can have access to personal data in our CRM system. Insofar as the transfer of your personal data to third countries is necessary for a legitimate purpose, this will only take place within the companies of Lindner group and on the basis of the applicable legal basis in accordance with Articles 44, 45, 46 GDPR and the conditions required therein to the guarantees and sufficient technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of the data transfer.

Photographing and creating video recordings at meetings and events

Within the framework of the wide range of events organised and carried out by the Lindner Group, it regularly happens that persons commissioned to do so or editors of regional or national media invited to the event take photos for information and for the enrichment of press statements, for use in internal Lindner information media, for flyers, for publication via social media etc.. Without your consent, taking photos of the entire event is permitted, unless a person or a smaller group of people has been explicitly photographed.

If individuals or specific, smaller groups of people are photographed specifically and with the intention of using these photos in the manner described above, the photographer shall obtain prior consent from these people or, if present, from his/her legal representative.

The photographing of individuals (portraits) or smaller groups of people occurs, for example, when they are to be photographed in the context of an honour, or when a winner's prize is presented, or in the course of a personal interview or for similar purposes of this kind.   

Before making video recordings, at the beginning of the request to record a personal interview with the intention of publishing it internally or externally, the interviewer will in any case obtain written consent from them in advance.    

You may revoke any consent you have given to the Lindner Group for image, film or sound recordings at any time and informally with effect for the future.

Please note:A given consent in picture - film or sound recordings to a representative of the press or media, you may be able to revoke only conditionally or not at all. The respective press law counts here! 

Legal basis: Article 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR "Legitimate interest", our legitimate interest is to inform and report about company events, trade fairs, regionally or nationally events and in social media. Article 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR "Consent", for example in portrait photos, small group photos, film recordings, before the publication of interviews and the like.

Participation in online raffles / online events / use of online media

As a modern, dynamic, diverse and internationally positioned group of companies, Lindner uses social media for its marketing and for the contact with its business partners, interested parties and customers, as well as for personnel marketing purposes and for recruiting young talent.

Together with the respective online media partner, such as Facebook or Google, the respective Lindner company is responsible for the personal data of visitors and users collected or processed there. 

In the course of "online events", "online raffles" etc. initiated by us, we try to inform all users and interested parties, whom we inform or encourage to participate in such an online offer via the Internet, as best as possible in advance.

We are aware of the possible interests of the online providers themselves in obtaining as much information as possible about users and participants, and we therefore select in advance as far as possible those formats which entail a relatively low risk for participants and users. In any case, we will provide information for the purposes of OUR collection of personal data.

We cannot always estimate which mechanisms online providers use in the background to collect data. But we can and want to point out these risks!

Please read the information we provide and consider to what extent you can prevent or restrict the collection of your personal data by THIRD PARTIES on the Internet, for example, through individual browser settings on your end device and the use of appropriate protection programs.   

Legal basis: Articel 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPRGDPR "Legitimate interest", our legitimate interest is to use the instrument of online marketing to get in contact with customers and interested parties and, as a personnel marketing instrument, to draw the attention of potential junior staff and specialists to us. Articel 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR „Consent“, e.g. as a self-determined „opt in“ by the user before participating in an online offer (e.g. a raffle or competition).

4. Storage period

We store all personal data within the scope of the legal regulations. For the timely deletion of personal data, so-called deletion concepts exist in the entire Lindner Group. In accordance with existing legal obligations, we only delete business transactions after 10 years. Other personal data, for example, is deleted at the moment when the purpose on which the processing was based expires.

Personal data is deleted immediately, for example, if we receive a justified request for deletion from a person affected or a revocation of a given consent.

5. Your rights as a person affected of our data processing

  1. At any time you have the right to obtain information from the person responsible (e.g. from Lindner Group KG or another Lindner company acting as the organiser) about personal data relating to you or your minor child, as well as the right to correct incorrect data or delete or restrict the processing of your personal data.

Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and the right to data transfer at any time.

We must respond within 30 days to any request for information or other request addressed to us in connection with the items described under "a)".

The extent to which your requests for e.g. "correction, deletion, restriction or revocation" are enforceable, depends on the extent to which and to what the controller is required to continue processing your personal data on the basis of a legal obligation applicable to us.
