The Lindner Group’s sustainability strategy systematically integrates environmental and social challenges, as well as the requirements of responsible corporate governance, into its strategy, business model and value chain. It is based on defined areas of action covering resource conservation (environment), people (social) and values (governance).
In the environmental area, the focus is on the principles of the circular economy, expanding the use of renewable energy and avoiding environmental impacts. These priorities are supported by measures such as increasing the use of renewable energy in our energy supply, using electricity from renewable sources in relevant areas and continuously improving energy efficiency.
In the social area, the focus is on health and safety, training and professional development, as well as flexible and equal working conditions. These priorities are implemented through defined measures and targets.
In governance, values-based leadership, reliability, trust, as well as strong networks and partnerships provide the framework for responsible decision-making and collaboration.
Bringing these three perspectives together ensures that our commitment to sustainability is embedded in operational management and the ongoing development of our business model. Ideas emerge from innovation, employee engagement and collaboration with partners across the value chain; their implementation is driven by programmes, processes and targets. Based on this approach, the guiding principle for our overarching strategy, “turning ideas into impact”, is as follows: The Lindner Group measures its commitment by the extent to which concepts and initiatives result in documented and verifiable progress for the environment, people and responsible corporate governance.

Sustainability Management Division
As an international construction company, we document the impacts of our products and processes throughout their life cycles. In doing so, we use verifiable criteria for material health and resource use.
Ressource-efficiency and circularity are a key part of our environmental commitment: we develop and manufacture selected products according to the criteria of Cradle to Cradle Certified®. The focus is on keeping materials in circulation and reducing residual waste. Through our LinLoop business model, we enable selected products to be taken back at the end of their service life for refurbishment and reuse.
At our sites and across our processes, we focus on expanding the use of renewable energy and deploying energy-efficient technologies. Together with suppliers and partners, we record greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain and work towards their gradual reduction. Emissions are measured in accordance with the GHG Protocol, using 2025 as the base year for Scopes 1, 2 and 3.

People are the foundation of the Lindner Group — as a second-generation family business, we live by a culture shaped by trust, appreciation, and genuine collaboration.
The health and safety of our employees is our highest priority: ensured through structured occupational safety measures, ergonomic workplaces, targeted health management, and continuous accident prevention.
At the same time, we invest consistently in training and professional development — because we nurture talent from within our own ranks and enable career changers to integrate purposefully into our organisation.
For us, responsible conduct begins with clear principles: at the Lindner Group, integrity, transparency, and fairness are not abstract concepts — they are a lived commitment, reflected in every decision, in every business relationship, across the world.
