With the new F90 Drop-Slide Metal Fire Protection Ceiling, the Lindner Group is expanding its portfolio with an intelligent ceiling system that meets the highest demands for fire protection, functionality and ease of maintenance. Its sustainable, fully recyclable construction, complete with EPD and UPD certification, makes it a future-proof choice for environmentally conscious building projects.
Tested in accordance with DIN EN 13501-2, the ceiling offers fire resistance of EI90 (a→b) and EI60 (a←b), corresponding to F90 from above and F60 from below, ensuring reliable, two-sided protection in the event of fire. Above all, the new F/EI 60 classification on the underside offers additional protection in particularly security-critical areas – for example, in public buildings, hospitals, industrial facilities, as well as in corridors and escape routes. The free-spanning construction allows for flexible planning and safe implementation, even with large spans, complex building structures, or refurbishment projects.
In addition to its high fire protection rating, the system impresses with its unique drop-and-slide function – a practical, tool-free inspection feature: individual ceiling panels can be easily lowered and slid horizontally beneath adjacent panels, without encroaching on the ceiling void. This creates a generous access opening of up to 2,500 x 1,600 mm, allowing all common maintenance work to be carried out without disrupting ongoing operations.
A height-adjustable wall connection ensures precise installation, even where there are structural irregularities.
The perforated surface simultaneously delivers excellent acoustic performance, contributing to a pleasant room environment. In addition, the hygienic, easy-to-clean metal surface meets the highest standards in sensitive areas such as hospitals, laboratories or food production facilities.
