The multi-layer wood flooring consists of real wood veneer with a core of high-density fibreboard (HDF). The high density of the HDF core gives the flooring better resistance to indentation than a solid top layer. In combination with the hard wax-oiled surface, the flooring is hard-wearing and durable. The optimum utilisation of the solid cubic metre of wood through the use of a thin veneer makes a decisive contribution to resource-saving use. Up to 500 m² of top layer for the veneer flooring can be produced from one solid metre of wood. Compared to a solid wood top layer, only up to 50 m² of wood flooring can be produced from one solid cubic metre. The natural appearance of real wood flooring is guaranteed with both variants. A 1 mm thick magnetic foil is used as a backing. The flooring is laid with magnetic adhesion to sheet steel without gluing or a mechanical connection. Due to its thickness, it can be combined with other elastic coverings or SL tiles.
