New Wack Group building in Baar-Ebenhausen

To meet the growing demands of production, administration and close customer proximity, a state-of-the-art new building for the Wack Group was constructed in Baar-Ebenhausen. The company manufactures care and cleaning products for cars, motorcycles and bicycles, as well as electronics.

Covering around 60,000 m², the new production and administration facility provides space for up to 400 employees and the latest manufacturing technology. In addition to spacious production areas, the building features a representative office building, technical centres and training and conference rooms, offering comprehensive insights into products and new solutions.

The new Wack Group building was constructed to the latest energy standards and now offers significantly more space for production equipment and storage areas, enabling capacity to be increased in the future. The electricity used at the new headquarters is generated entirely from renewable energy sources, such as a photovoltaic system. Particular emphasis was placed on combining functionality, sustainability and modern design.

Glass partition wall systems for optimum transparency and safety

For the new Wack Group headquarters, the Lindner Group supplied high-quality glass partition wall systems that optimally combine design, functionality and safety. The Lindner Life Stereo 125 impresses with its flush glazing and side-hung aluminium frames, creating a clear spatial structure.

This results in open, light-filled working areas that also provide both acoustic and visual privacy. Particular attention was paid to the choice of materials: the white wall profiles are made from Hydro low-carbon aluminium, produced with a maximum of 4.0 kg CO₂ per kilogram of aluminium – only around a quarter of the global average. This means the system combines a modern, elegant design with a resource-efficient and demonstrably more climate-friendly construction method.

Bespoke wooden doors for functionality and safety

Complementing the glass partitions, high-quality HTB 41 and HTB 49 wooden doors were installed in the new Wack Group building. Finished in clean white, these doors meet not only aesthetic expectations but also technical requirements in the areas of fire protection, smoke protection, burglary resistance and sound insulation.
