Refurbishment of the Central Pharmacy at DONAUISAR Clinical in Deggendorf

The refurbishment of the Central Pharmacy at DONAUISAR Clinic has created a state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to meet the requirements for the production of patient-specific medicines. The pharmacy produces preparations not commercially available, including specially dosed infusion and injection solutions, medications for the children’s clinic, as well as tinctures and ointments.

This service portfolio is complemented by pharmaceutical services and efficient logistics. The refurbishment provides the spatial and technical conditions necessary to reliably carry out these demanding tasks under the highest hygiene standards.

For the expansion, the Lindner Group relied on customised products and services that optimally fulfil the special functional and hygienic requirements of a hospital pharmacy. Multiclean wall systems were used in both single- and double-skin versions. With their smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces, they ensure compliance with strict cleanroom standards. These were complemented by Metal‑G13/19 wall panels, providing robust yet hygienic wall construction.

To ensure optimal light distribution and transparency within the work areas, glazing was incorporated, emphasising the open character of the rooms without compromising hygiene requirements. Sandwich walls also contribute to a functional room layout while meeting the high building-physics standards of the project.

Swing MPH hinged doors provide secure, barrier-free access to all work areas and are designed to withstand the high traffic typical of a hospital environment. A continuous clip ceiling completes the fit-out, offering a clean appearance and allowing easy access for maintenance, as well as integration of building services and lighting.
