With GRIDX, Europe’s first multi-experience destination is emerging in Luxembourg – a pioneering hub that seamlessly combines work, social interaction and experience across approximately 44,000 m². The forward-looking concept brings together retail, leisure facilities, gastronomy, hotels, a business centre and versatile event spaces for workshops, exhibitions and live events. For this landmark project, the Lindner Group delivered and installed customised interior fit-out solutions that unite contemporary design, functionality and user comfort.
A key focus of the interior concept was the creation of flexible, high-quality spaces that support a wide range of uses while ensuring a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere. Through tailor-made solutions, the interior architecture responds to the dynamic requirements of a multi-use destination and provides long-term adaptability.
A particular highlight of the project is the specially designed CAS Room with exceptional dimensions of 10 x 4 metres. Significantly exceeding standard sizes, this modular room-in-room system was developed as a bespoke solution specifically for GRIDX. Based on modular core elements, the CAS Room can be flexibly expanded, adapted or completely dismantled, making it ideally suited to changing usage scenarios.
Thanks to its high degree of reusability and modular construction, the system represents a sustainable solution for modern working, meeting and event environments. Installation, dismantling and reinstallation are low-maintenance, ensuring long-term usability and economic efficiency.
To ensure a healthy and comfortable indoor climate, Plafotherm® DS 315 Air Hybrid ceilings were installed. These innovative systems integrate heating, cooling and ventilation functions into a single, efficient solution, combining thermal comfort with high energy efficiency. Their clean, modern design allows seamless integration into a wide variety of interior concepts.
The modular hybrid metal ceilings are also designed for reusability, supporting circular construction principles and the sustainable use of resources.
The implementation of GRIDX required customised special dimensions for the CAS Room as well as precise integration into the existing building structure. In particular, the coordination of interfaces for the ceiling’s structural loads posed a technical challenge. Thanks to the Lindner Group’s engineering expertise, technical precision and flexibility, the project was successfully realised.
