Making sustainability measurable: Lindner Group publishes first sustainability report

With its first sustainability report, Lindner Group is establishing a new foundation for transparency, dialogue and the strategic advancement of sustainable corporate governance. The report was prepared in alignment with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and applies across the entire Lindner Group.

With this publication, the company group has for the first time consolidated key information on its concepts, measures and objectives in the areas of environment, social responsibility and corporate governance.

One report – many perspectives

The sustainability report brings together the organisation’s key concepts, measures and objectives. The focus includes sustainability strategies, resource conservation measures, energy efficiency, circular economy principles, social responsibility, fair working conditions and transparent business processes.

Particular emphasis is placed on the systematic collection and evaluation of relevant key performance indicators – for example relating to energy, materials, waste, transport and employees. This holistic approach makes synergies visible, supports the prioritisation of measures and helps Lindner implement its sustainability goals more efficiently and in a more targeted way.

Transparency as a foundation for trust

By publishing the sustainability report, the Lindner Group is preparing at an early stage for the increasingly stringent requirements in sustainability reporting. From the 2027 reporting year onwards, the sustainability report will be audited by an independent external auditor in accordance with CSRD requirements.

For Lindner, however, sustainability reporting is far more than a regulatory obligation. It is a strategic tool to identify opportunities early, minimise risks and strengthen long-term partnerships with customers, employees, suppliers and other stakeholders. Transparent sustainability communication is becoming increasingly important, particularly in tenders and award decisions.

The start of a continuous process

The first sustainability report marks the beginning of an ongoing development process for the Lindner Group. Based on the collected data and defined fields of action, existing measures will be reviewed, new potential identified and further targets derived. Progress will be documented annually going forward.
