New DACHSER Network Campus in Kempten

With the DACHSER Network Campus, the logistics company is expanding its headquarters in Kempten in the Allgäu with forward-looking new buildings that redefine work, learning and interaction. Covering a gross floor area of around 33,000 m², distributed across two four-storey new builds connected by a central concourse, the campus comprises office space, seminar and conference rooms as well as a staff canteen. The campus creates opportunities to design modern, flexible and future-proof workplaces, thereby securing the foundation for further growth and reinforcing DACHSER’s position as one of the largest and most attractive employers in the region.

Architecture and interior design from a single source

The Lindner Group oversaw the project providing a comprehensive package of services. Both architectural requirements and functional aspects were at the forefront. From the office areas and the eastern concourse to the ground floor and stairwells, a consistent and high-quality fit-out concept was realised, one that embodies the vision of openness, flexibility and wellbeing.

A special focus within the open, communication-oriented working environment was placed on room acoustics. With approximately 70,000 linear metres of Lindner MUTE+® board acoustic absorbers, an effective acoustic optimisation was achieved. These absorbers ensure that concentrated work can take place just as easily as spontaneous encounters and exchanges.

Flexible flooring systems for modern working environments

Various raised and hollow floor systems were used in the interior fit-out, combining high stability, flexibility and comfort. The FLOOR and more®, FLOOR and more® comfort, as well as NORTEC and NORTEC acoustic systems, enable effective integration of technical infrastructure while also optimising room acoustics. FLOOR and more® comfort additionally provides an integrated heating and cooling system, efficiently regulating indoor climate and saving energy. All systems are considered biologically safe in construction terms, are durable, and allow for customised design through a range of surface finishes.

Transparent space structuring

With Lindner Life Pure 620 glass partition walls, bright and light-filled spaces were created that encourage teamwork while also offering areas for private and confidential conversations. The systems blend seamlessly into the modern architecture and underline the prestigious character of the new building.

In addition to the system solutions for ceilings, flooring and space structuring, Lindner was responsible for further fit-out works. These included timber internal doors, tiling, plasterboard partitions and extensive painting. The result is a coherent and harmonious spatial concept throughout.
