GRIDX Multi-Experience Destination

GRIDX in Luxembourg is Europe’s first multi-experience destination – a place that combines working, meeting and experiencing. The concept includes retail, leisure facilities, restaurants, hotels, a business centre as well as event spaces for workshops, exhibitions and conferences. For this pioneering project, the Lindner Group supplied and installed bespoke solutions that bring together functionality, comfort and modern design.

Flexible room-in-room solutions

A highlight of the project is the specially designed CAS Room with extraordinary dimensions of 10 x 4 m. This modular room-in-room system clearly exceeds standard sizes and was developed as a custom solution for the client. The CAS Room consists of base elements and can be flexibly adapted to new requirements, expanded, or completely dismantled and reused for other projects. Its high adaptability and reusability make it a particularly sustainable solution for modern working and meeting spaces. Installation, dismantling and reinstallation are also straightforward and low-maintenance – another advantage for long-term usage concepts.

Heating, cooling and ventilation in one system

With the Plafotherm® DS 315 Air Hybrid ceilings, maximum user comfort is achieved. They combine heating and cooling ceiling functions with invisibly integrated ventilation. The result is a healthy and pleasant indoor climate alongside a contemporary, aesthetic appearance. The hybrid metal ceilings are modular in structure, can be reused and therefore make a valuable contribution to circular construction and the conservation of resources.

Special challenges

The implementation of the project required the development of a special size for the CAS Room as well as seamless integration into the existing building structure. Due to the static loads of the ceiling, the interfaces had to be precisely coordinated – a planning and technical challenge that the Lindner Group team successfully mastered thanks to its flexibility and extensive experience.
