The office complex at Badenerstrasse 170/172 in Zurich was completely refurbished: The owners Swiss Life AG commissioned the deconstruction down to the structural level and the subsequent renewal of all building services systems, including the building envelope, as well as a modern interior fit-out. KPMG, one of the four largest auditing companies in the world, finally moved into the new office space as a tenant.
After creating a sample for a cube, the Lindner Group was able to win the contract in February 2020, demonstrating its expertise in fitting out office buildings. Right from the start of the project, Lindner was in regular contact with the client and played a key role in the design and sound insulation concept. A special feature of the project were the 65 Cubes, which provide special flexibility in the offices as room-in-room systems. The Cubes – here specially designed with exclusive wood and expanded metal claddings – can be used for various purposes, whether as meeting rooms, quiet zones or for individual workstations. The result is something to be proud of: The completely refurbished offices shine in new splendour and offer the users a modern and functional working environment.
