On the campus of RWTH Aachen, that is Germany's largest technical university with 45,000 students, comprehensive renovation measures have been conducted for some time and those will not be completed until 2020, which will be the 150th anniversary of the university. In the course of these extensive renovation works, the canteen in the immediate proximity of the Production Technology Cluster was also renewed.

Lindner contributed to this project with heated and chilled ceilings in the form of baffle ceilings. The ceiling system not only makes its contribution to temperature regulation in the canteen, it also has a positive effect on room acoustics thanks to the perforation.
