Our Company

In recent years, digital technologies have significantly streamlined our lives. Yet, challenges persist in the financial sector, which can be tackled with cutting-edge solutions. An example? To process financial transactions efficiently, companies and financial institutions require a secure and transparent platform for issuing and managing guarantees and sureties. This is precisely where Lindner Group's innovative concept comes into play.

The Genesis of Digital Vault Service GmbH

In August 2017, the idea emerged from Lindner Group's Treasury Department to digitize the global exchange and storage of sureties and guarantees via a web platform. This visionary idea garnered strong support from banks, insurance firms, and businesses dealing with significant surety and guarantee volumes daily. In 2019, Lindner established Digital Vault Service GmbH, which has been operating the Guarantee Vault platform in the market since 2021. The growing number of banks, insurance firms, and some publicly traded companies registering on the platform to manage their guarantees caught the attention of Deutsche Börse AG and its subsidiary Clearstream in 2022.

We are delighted that discussions regarding Deutsche Börse AG's subsidiary Clearstream's investment in DVS have concluded successfully. With Clearstream's investment, DVS and its Guarantee Vault platform gain additional market confidence, which will accelerate growth in the coming years and support DVS's establishment as a long-term infrastructure solution.

Clearstream's Investment in Digital Vault Service GmbH

The partnership between Digital Vault Services and Clearstream underscores the commitment of both entities to further digitizing financial markets. The investment aims to bolster DVS's offering as a market infrastructure solution for issuing and storing digital guarantees. Additionally, there are plans to integrate DVS's Guarantee Vault with Deutsche Börse's D7 digital post-trade platform to expand the digital service portfolio into the non-securities sector.

Lindner Group is grateful that an idea originating from the Treasury Department's requirements has evolved into a successful partnership with an established financial institution like the Deutsche Börse. We are confident that this collaboration will continue to yield positive impacts on financial markets.
